Catching Up!
I can think of one word to describe these past couple of weeks: nutty! I am more than ready for life to settle down a bit. With that said, it is time to play catch-up. So I hope that I don't bore you with my long, long post of pictures. Here it goes:

Here is the pre-school curriculum that we are using. I am super happy with it and plan on using the kindergarten version for next year.
We love singing! Each day, we begin with the Pledge of Allegiance and then move onto hymn time. We have been learning "Great is Thy Faithfulness".
We focused on the letter "A" the first week.
Snuggle time with dad.

We went to Opa and Oma's house for an evening.
Oma and Austin.

Carson with his cousin Landon.
More of Oma and Austin. I love these sweet pictures.

The chickens are a must-see each time we visit.
Daddy caught one so Kylie could pet it.

Opa and Austin.
Lots of toads to be found.

Picking raspberries.

Kylie and Clara picking and eating.

Here's the crew...

Red raspberries and white ones too.

Just a section of the long beautiful drive way up to Pa and Ma's.
A view of the raspberry-pickers from the top.
What a perfect fall background on Oma's front porch.

And here is sweet little Anthony with a little toad he caught...

And Here It Is...
And the project which I've been telling you about--it is finished and has been for at least a week now. However, life has been so busy I've not even had a chance until now to post it. This has been my life this past week: wiping snotty noses, catching/cleaning up puke, preparing Sunday school lessons, preparing for Bible study, getting ready for a visit from a friend, going to Awana, keeping track of the now-mobile baby and staying on top of the training/discipline, keeping up on business bookwork, outside work on the house, and our biggest change...homeschooling has begun! Life is very good though crazy.
As you can see, there is no baseboard or chair rail up yet in Kylie's room. That is because there will someday be a closet where this piece of furniture is sitting and there will be a bathroom where her current closet is. So much to do. Yet, we enjoy it. It was fun to see this piece of furniture come together. It is designed to look like one I saw in Pottery Barn Kids catalog. Did the handy husband do an amazing job? I'd say so!

Labor Day Weekend
As you can see, my little boy is getting very busy. And that makes his mom all the busier too.

Carson's latest fashion...
I think he had a little help from his dad on this one.

We spent Labor Day evening with my mom and Brianna at Lake Zorinsky.
The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the park.

Here comes trouble again.
Carson and Kylie now like to try and pick their brother up.

I think he rather enjoys it.

And the latest project in the Udd household...finishing up the outside of our house. We hope to reach this goal by the end of fall. Here, Kaycee is using a heat gun to melt all of the ancient "stuff" off of all our old windows. We have all new windows, but the outside requires some special attention. Two down already and it is looking spectacular. I look forward to showing you the completed project.

It was absolutely beautiful weather for working outdoors. Austin even needed a little jacket on.
Entertained with some leaves.
Aren't these the most precious chubby little hands?
