Carson's Love for Kitties

We recently vistited Nathan & Julie's and Carson got to hold all of their kittens! Carson absolutely loves kitties but can't have one while we live in town. His favorite thing to do with them is hold their soft fur next to his face. Occasionally, they get a nice little squeeze, probably to their disliking. The kittens sure were adorable. Wish they could stay that small and cute.

Carson's First Day of Pre-School

Carson started school yesterday. I think he was more than ready after two months off. There are five kids that are in his class from last year, so that makes about half of the class that he already knows. Ky and I will probably try to start doing some short pre-school home-school sessions. I'd like to start working on her ABC's!

Summer Fun

The past couple of weeks have been busy and full! I've posted some pictures to show you some of what we've had fun doing...going out to eat with Grandma and Brianna at TGI Friday's, going to visit Aunt Kelsey at college, watching our Washington County parade (it's a HUGE deal in this little town...people filled the streets!) Carson loved all of the tractors, old cars, and fire engines. Kylie and Bri had fun collecting all of the candy they threw out. Lastly, we've had fun with all of the new friends we're making here in Arlington. We went to the Splash Pad with McKenzie, Alex, and Nick. Carson & Kylie had a blast running through the water!

Kylie's 3rd Birthday

My little girl is now three years old. She got her much-awaited Cinderella birthday party and is now busier than ever playing with her new princess dolls, princess tea set, princess puzzles, and new baby doll. Thank you everyone for making her day so special!

Potty Training

This short video of Kylie was taken a couple of months ago when we started potty training her. Check out the get-up she has on!

Mineola, IA

Last Saturday evening, Marlin & Becky invited us out to Mineola for the evening. We took our little 3-wheeler with us. All the boys...big and small had a blast. Kyle took Carson on rides around their house. Kyle did a great job and Carson just giggled the whole time. Carson's highlight of the evening was his ride on the Mineola fire engine. Marlin took the fire truck out and took us all on a ride around town. Carson even got to pull the air-horn.
