Picnic at the Park

Today was our first trip into Omaha of the week. I am trying really really hard to save on gas these days. I am shooting for no more than one trip in each week. Today, Austin had his 18-month check up. My baby is nearly 27 pounds! Sadly though, he had a double ear infection. That would definitely explain his extreme crankiness as of lately. Poor baby.

After being cooped up in a very small patient room for an hour and a half, we were more than ready to meet Kaycee for a picnic at the park. While we were eating lunch, we were asked by a KETV news camera lady if we would talk about the flooding that is expected from the Mississippi. Supposedly, it was supposed to affect the park and near by. We declined. Are you kidding me? Talk on camera? No way. You'd have to pay me big money to talk on tv.

My Boys

Saturday was a great day. Just me and my boys! It's not very often that this happens. Kylie got to spend the day at the zoo with Grandma and Brianna. So, the boys and I met Kaycee for a lunch date (he had to work) and then we spent some time out by Lakeside enjoying the beautiful afternoon.
