We're Finally Well!

I think we are finally well! It has been quite the past two and a half weeks with sick kids. Carson's first day back to school was today! He missed two weeks of school. Can you believe it? Two weeks worth of a fever. Poor guy. He was so excited to head back today. With this being said, we've hardly left our house. Thankfully, we had some beautiful weather which lifted our spirits. So, all these pics are from our sick days at home.

Thought I'd post just a few more of my creations from "Picnik".

On one of the really nice days, I stepped outside to find my Carson riding his bike like this:

I pulled some "new" toys out of the closet during our sick days. They hadn't seen these toys for literally months. They are new to them all over again and have been having a blast with the "Little People".

Kylie is so excited about how long her hair is getting. We're working hard to grow it out.

Carson is so hard to get good pictures of. He always has some funny expression on his face and hates looking at the camera.

Last week, I thought our bottle days were over. Tears. This mom is happy to see her baby has changed his mind.

As I mentioned before, Carson is difficult to take pictures of. Well, what an opportune time I had to snap some sweet shots while he was watching a video with Kaycee.

Austin ate an entire hot dog for lunch today! It's so good to have appetites and good health back! Thank you Lord!

My Latest Obsession

Happy Valentine's Day!

What a beautiful day it has been today! Hope that all of you are enjoying this Valentine's Day. Here was my attempt at a Valentine's picture of all three kids:

One Sad Sight

This poor little boy is one sad sight. It ended up that I ran him into Omaha last night to an urgent care. I knew he was in need of some steroids and I didn't want to risk waiting until today. I was worried about his airway closing off during the night if the hives worsened enough. I'm so thankful that our wait wasn't all that long and that Austin was a good little boy. It's a great day to stay home, don't you think?

Sick Kids

Do we look like a pharmacy around here? It feels like one. Carson was sick last week with fever/cough/cold. This week Kylie and Austin have come down with it. In addition, Austin broke out in huge hives this morning. Between keeping the fevers down, keeping up on the Benadryl, and remembering Ky's routine daily medications, let's just say it has been BUSY! Can't wait for good health again!

Puppies

I love watching my kids play together and love to see them using their imaginations. Carson has a tendency to tease and to ruin Kylie's attempts to play with him. However, yesterday it was so sweet to watch them play "puppy" together.

Even Austin had his turn to be the puppy.
