This N' That

Austin keeps life so much fun with all that he is learning and doing. Oh how he wants this door knob!
Grabbing sister's dress looks like too much fun!

Kylie is doing so well with learning her letters. Here are some of the ones she knows how to write.
Just another day playing with her baby.
She is very patient with Austin. He loves to watch his big sister.
I was unloading the dishwasher the other morning, turned around for two seconds and came back to find this:
One more thing to add to the list of don't do's...don't leave the dishwasher door open.

Kaycee took all of us out for pizza the other night. Afterward we went to Village Pointe to enjoy the nice evening.
Carson's obsession with water ended our evening early. He soaked his shirt and pants on this huge rotating ball.
My poor Austin got hives again. Still don't know what caused them.
Thanks to the Benadryl, we didn't end up needing steriods this time.

Kylie got out the farm animals the other day. It was so cute to watch him play with them.

It was so fun to go through all of Carson's old clothes and get them ready for Austin to wear for this fall/winter. Austin is just enough bigger that everything has worked out season-wise. What a blessing and a huge savings in money! These cute little white tennis shoes are ones that Carson used to wear.

"Hmmm...what's in here?"
"I think my mom closed this door for a reason."
"Hmmm....these look like a lot of fun."
This is what Carson looks like after helping Daddy clean out his truck.

And just today, Austin discovered how to open the kitchen cabinets. Oh boy, I believe we will be having another training session very soon.

Getting frustrated because he can't get them open again.
"Sorry Austin, can't help you with that one."

I have a little photographer in the making. Kylie has taken all of the pictures you see below:
Hair-cut time!! Carson is normally a HUGE challenge...fits, tantrums, while I cut. You wouldn't know it by these pictures, would you? Amazingly, I keep cutting it. Kaycee has been to the barber only 2 times in our 9 years of marriage. The last time he went to the barber was when I was in pre-term labor with Kylie at the hospital. After that cut, we both agreed that would be the last. He likes my cuts the best and I do have to say that I agree. I often wonder how much money I've saved by cutting everyone's hair except my own.
I rarely get to be in pictures because I'm always the one taking them. Thanks Kylie.

My 10 Month Old

I can't believe my baby is 10 months old!! Each and every day with my Austin is such a joy! He makes life so much fun and has made life lots busier in the past month but would I exchange it for anything? Absolutely not!

No, he doesn't really ride this yet. Just had to sit him on here for kicks.
Just this past weekend, he has begun pulling himself up everywhere!! It just doesn't seem like this crawling stage will last long :(
Found him standing up in bed for the first time yesterday. He was in such a great mood. Can you tell?

Not sure what this face is, but I thought it was funny.

"Better shoot fast mom, before I take a dive off this couch".

In a very deep state of concentration...

"Boy, am I big stuff or what?"

Picking Berries

Carson and Kylie love to pick raspberries in our backyard. I'm not sure how many of them actually make it into the bowl. However, I do see quite a few that make it into their mouths.

I think Carson decided it would be more fun hanging out under the pine tree than helping with the picking.

Just thought I'd show you what the hubby has been working on outside. I should have taken a before shot, but I didn't. This is one of the windows that he used his heat gun on to scrape away all of the old paint, ect. It looks fabulous compared to what it did originally.
I love this smooth, white, clean look. No more layers upon layers of old paint!
Only 4 more windows to go!!
