Weekend With Daddy

We had such a great weekend together as a family. Kaycee has been so swamped with work lately that he hasn't been home on a Saturday for over a month! How fun to sit down for breakfast on Saturday morning as a family and just relax and talk. It was so great not to have to think about him having to run off to work shortly after. We spent the weekend working in the yard, talking over landscaping plans, watching the kids ride their bikes, running some errands together, and helping my mom with some yard work.

My baby is getting so big!

Carson's Love for Dirt

Carson has been so entertained lately with digging in the dirt. Kaycee has a shovel and hoe that we keep outside to kill all the snakes that seem to love our yard...eeeek! Carson has had a hayday using them to dig. He can really go to town! He dug up a huge section of our lawn as seen below. I drew the line when he proceeded to dig in numerous other places since we don't really want to re-seed the entire lawn. So now, Carson has his designated digging area! It's just too bad we live in town. This boy needs the country!
